Winterize your boat with our help

Why worry about your boat lasting through the winter when you can take measures to ensure your motor is ready to start up and rev like the day you bought it?

When it’s time to put your boat away for the off-season, take the following steps to winterize it:

Clean the boat from stem to stern. Swab the decks, wipe down wood furnishings and trim and clean out the bilge. Use a broom or vacuum cleaning to remove any dust or debris from corners.
Repair any mechanical or structural damage. Contact us at to schedule any repairs you aren’t confident you can perform yourself.
Top off fuel tanks to roughly ⅞ of a tank and then add biocide. Check all hoses, belts, sump pumps, clamps, strainers and thru-hulls to ensure they are in good repair. Make sure your coolant is at an adequate level. Once you have turned off the motor for the last time before spring, the water heater and all other water tanks.

Finally, we can pick up your boat for maintenance or repair and deliver it back to your home when we are finished.
